Coach Context
Goal
The coach context explains how clubs check coach profiles, license hints, youth-coach status and later game-report effects.
Creating the coach profile is already covered in Club context subsection 4.9 Maintain coaches and staff. License application and decision remain in the License and review office context. Concrete game-report entry follows in the Game report recorder context.
Role and Permission
- Club administrator or team manager checks coach data.
- Coach profile holder may be visible in later workflows.
- Review office decides license applications where needed.

- Person and club membership exist.
- Coach profile exists and is active where needed.
- License data or license application exists if coach requirement should be satisfied.
- Team and later game report contexts are prepared.

5.1Check Coach Pool
5.1.1Goal and Access
The club checks which people are available as coaches and whether their profiles are active and usable for later team-page workflows.

5.1.3Open Coach List
- Sign in as club administrator.

5.1.4Read Header and List
Check person, club, profile status, license hint and any warning shown by the application. The list is a preparation view. The actual game-day selection happens later on the team page and in the game report.

5.2Classify Coach License and Youth Coach
5.2.1Goal and Boundary
The club understands whether a coach profile has enough license information for youth-team or league requirements. The club does not approve licenses in this context.
5.2.2Check License Hints

5.2.3Read Youth Coaches Correctly
Youth-coach status is a functional classification. It must not be treated as automatic approval for every league. Check the concrete league requirement and the license state before relying on it.
5.3Understand Effect in Game Report
5.3.1Goal and Boundary
The coach profile prepares later selection in team pages and game reports. It does not itself submit a team page or approve the game report.
5.3.2Selection in Game Report
In the game report workflow, coaches are selected on the home or away team page. The recorder checks whether the selected coaches match the actual game day and whether coach requirement warnings are shown.
5.3.3Check Coach Requirement
If a league requires coaches, the team page must contain suitable coach data. Warnings must be reviewed before submission or final approval.
5.4Check Demo Data and Downstream Contexts
5.4.1Demo Data State
The demo contains coach examples for youth and open teams. Use them to check valid, missing and questionable license states.
5.4.2Project-Team Check
The project team checks whether demo data is sufficient for:
- club coach pool
- license office review
- team-page selection
- game-report warning behavior
- final report approval
